My youngest, Avie, was quite a surprise. I didn't know I was pregnant with her until I was 18 weeks along, and my water broke at 25 weeks. After bedrest in the hospital, she came emergency c-section at 27.5 weeks. She was 2lbs 9oz and spent 3 months in the NICU. She inspired my Christ and Baby print that launched Dilly Designs. She is now 2! I will never forget the amount of love and comfort we felt from our Heavenly Father during that time. My husband gave her a beautiful priesthood blessing, placing his hands on her incubator. Immediately a feeling of peace and calm swept over me and that's when I knew she'd be ok.

Fun Fact: You may not know, but I had never drawn before. Like, EVER. I picked up a pencil for the first time 2.5 years ago after my grandma passed away- and within a few minutes sketched this. Everyone was shocked. I was shocked. I had never taken art classes - I had been a dancer and coach for a long time. After this, I began to draw more and more.
